RAAF aircrew carry their kit along the wharf for embarkation on the troop transport Aquitania for the voyage to the Middle East. Note: on the print only the censor has omitted the service no. and name from the kit bags. The negative shows front row, second from left, no. 402089; second row, no. 402006 (vertical on the bag), left, no. 404042. 402006 is Flight Sergeant Theodore George Richards who was lost on operations over the Middle East on 02 November, 1942.
