Description
"Sappers of the Silent Seventh", a compilation of narrative accounts describing the exploits of the 7th Division Engineers from the unit's formation at Ingleburn in 1940, through the campaigns in the Middle East and the Western Desert, return to Australia and eventual movement to New Guinea. The accounts concentrate on the personnel and humour found in the Division rather than operational matters.
