Geldern, Germany. C. 1944-11. This railway east of Geldern was cut after an attack by 2nd Tactical Air Force Typhoon fighter-bombers. In this case a small bridge was badly damaged and the embankment undermined for about fifty yards after direct hits from 1,000 lb bombs.
