Saskatoon or MacLeod, Canada. 1939-1942. Group portrait of Empire Air Training Scheme trainees in front of Royal Canadian Air Force aircraft Avro Anson Mk1 6236. Inscription on verso reads: "J. Bewers, Julius Epstein, Eric Anderson, G. Armstrong, L. Cant...., E. K. J. Atkinson, Harkness, J. A. Caldwell, D. R. Keith, J. W. Fletcher, F. J. Duffett, Miles Holland, J. W. Hedley, K. W. Campbell, John H. Noble, Brice, A. G. Greenardley (?), R. Blok (?), C. L. Parker, A. J. McNeil, Polbowski SF.; Course 70 Bombers". Trainees are from the RAAF and the RAF.
