Near Montelimar, France. C. 1945-01. One of a collection of photographic oddities, collected by RAF reconnaissance aircraft during flights over Europe, which are "puzzles" to interpret for both experts and non-experts. This one is five derailed passenger coaches which have fallen down an embankment. This occurred near Montelimar on the main Paris-Lyons-Marseilles line.
