Kabul, Afghanistan. 1992-01. Informal group portrait of Afghani Government troops. The man in blue (at the far left) is a colonel in charge of protecting the dam in the background. This dam is Kabul's water supply. In the background (far left) is Isobelle Moussard, a French anthropologist, who occasionally acted as interpreter for Captain Mark Willetts, an Australian member of the United Nations Mine Clearance Training Team - Afghanistan/Pakistan (UNMCTT).
