Description

Near Lepsey, Norway. C. 1945-02. A German merchantman ship believed to be carrying oil, and a minesweeper were set on fire in an attack by RAF Coastal Command Beaufighter aircraft. The Nazi vessels were found off the Norwegian coast, and the Beaufighter aircraft attacked with rockets and cannon. Repeated hits were scored on both vessels, and explosions on board were seen.
