Rheine, Germany. C. 1945-04. An A.R.234 jet propelled aircraft destroyed on the airfield by the Germans before they left. The pilot sits right in front of the fuselage with the tanks presumably behind him, where the RAF officer is standing. The jet units have been removed and dummies fitted, probably to confuse reconnaissance aircraft.
