1x Poem titled ‘Anzacs’, written by Private Blatch, c1917. This three-part poem relates to remembrance of Anzac servicemen.
1x Poem titled ‘A Glad Home-Coming’, written by Private Blatch, c1917. In this poem Private Blatch writes from the perspective of an Anzac solider, asking his ‘dear’ if the toll of the war has affected their relationship and his return home.
2x Letters written by Private Blatch to his sister Miss Prudence Grace Blatch, England, 1917. In the first letter, dated 2 February, he writes to inform of her of his arrival in England, recovery from an illness and befriending of an English girl. In the second letter, dated 4 April 1917, he writes to inform her of his posting to France. On the reverse of this letter is a letter written by Mrs Phil Cupil [exact identity unknown] to Private Blatch, sending him good health and well wishes.
