Adelaide River, NT. 1943-12-11. The Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) truck, with its supply of cool drinks was a very popular attraction at the Northern Territory Christmas Sports Carnival conducted by the personnel of the 8th Division Cavalry Regiment. The truck was donated by woolgrowers of the Ararat Shire.
