Port Moresby, New Guinea. 1944-01-06. Douglas C37 Dakota transport aircraft at Wards Airfield waiting to be loaded with personnel of the 57/60th Australian Infantry Battalion. Note the traffic "Stop and Go" sign. This is used to control road traffic at the end of the runway.
