Anzac Jack
Description
Bronze bust of a man idenitified as 'Anzac Jack'. The sculpture is comprised of bronze strips that have been adhered to form the face. Anzac Jack wears a shirt and tie and the bust is fixed to a square base. This bust is an expression of the digger mythology that continues to pervade the Australian public consciousness, his face intended to embody the archetypal ANZAC, of larrikanism, mischievousness and strength.
