Bisiatabu, New Guinea. 1944-04-19. The bugle band of the Royal Papuan Constabulary march past the dais as PP1 Major General B. M. Morris DSO, General Officer Commanding Australian New Guinea Administrative Unit, takes the salute. The parade by members of the Papuan Infantry Battalion is to honour the visit to the area by the Minister for External Territories in the Australian Government, the Honourable E. J. Ward.
