On the right is the town of Hairatan in the northern Balkh province of Afghanistan, and the left, Termez in the Surxondaryo Region of Uzbekistan. One of a series of photographs taken by the David Savage, an Australian advisor to the Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC).
