4 inch Naval Projectile

A 4 inch calibre high explosive naval projectile. The projectile has a 37 mm wide brass driving band located 61 mm above the base. The case is hollow and empty and there is no nose tip fuze fitted in the 60 mm diameter case mouth. The projectile is painted yellow with a 15 mm wide red band painted 38 mm below the case mouth, and a 15 mm green band over a 15 mm black band at the base of the conical nose profile.
