Identified are: 402231 Flight Lieutenant John 'Jack' Donald, No 452 (Spitfire) Squadron, RAAF, of Sydney, NSW (extreme left); 400219 Warrant Officer (WO) Allen Lindsay Bull, No 41 (Spitfire) Squadron, RAAF, of Bairnsdale, Vic (second row, first on left); 402292 Flight Sergeant George Frederick Inkster, No 64 (Spitfire) Squadron (later No. 76 Squadron) RAAF, of Sydney, NSW (to right and behind officer in centre with peaked cap, head to side) Lost on operations over New Guinea on 11 August 1942; and 402220 WO William Aubrey 'Bill' Brew, No 41 Squadron, RAF, of Sydney, NSW (back row, extreme right).
