105 mm Howitzer M60 Smoke Projectile
Description
A 105 mm M60 smoke projectile for use in 105 mm howitzers. The projectile is 400 mm long and has a diameter of 105 mm with a 48 mm diameter threaded nose fuse insertion hole - no fuze inserted. (The overall length with a nose fuze would be 789 mm). The outside of the projectile is painted light grey with a 15 mm wide yellow band around the body 190 mm from the front nose fuze hole. There is a 20 mm copper driving band located 80 mm above the base.
