Description
Hai Yen, Vietnam. 1965-05-07. RAAF Caribou aircraft A4-173 in its resting place after landing short and running off the runway at Hai Yen. The accident required a major repair effort involving replacement of the wing, undercarriage, a propeller and other components. The aircraft flew out under its own power four days later and after being rebuilt was back in full service by September. (Donor R. J. Furze)
