Saigon, Vietnam. 1975-04. The Embassy Hotel in Saigon was virtually taken over to provide accommodation for Detachment `S' of the RAAF. However, the security situation in the capital became so uncertain that the base was shifted to Bangkok. The Presidential Palace was located further along the same street, to the right.
