Description

Flames rise high in the air during a propellant grain burn of 1000 grains, which is equal to 500 rocket motors, ignited by the United Nations Special Commission (UNSCOM) team. The propellant is from the 122mm rockets used by the Iraqis to deliver nerve agent warheads. The propellant was destroyed according to the United Nations (UN) Security Council's mandate which required the destruction of everything related to chemical warfare.
