France. ?1917. Formal portrait of members of the Band of the 8th Brigade with their musical instruments. In the centre row third from the left is 1190 Private Robert Rambert Buik with his cornet. In the front row on the right side of the drum is Private Snowy Lawson. Both these men had been members of the Manly Municipal Band before enlistment.
