Description
Admiral Sir George King-Hall was the last RN Commander of the Australia Station, and an important figure in the early development of the RAN. Diaries document his 3 years in Australia, particularly his aim to weld the RN and RAN together, meetings with senior political and naval figures, his popularity in Australia, and his personal and family affairs during this period.
