Sydney, NSW. c. 1939. Marie Packer. One in a portrait series of early members of the Womens' Emergency Signalling Corps (WESC). Many of the women became members of the RAN. The series was compiled by Mrs Florence Violet McKenzie OBE, the founder of WESC which trained signallers and telegraphists. (Donor M. Taylor)
