Description
Collection relating to the Second World War service of QX19782 Sergeant John Keith Barrie, MM. Collection consists of an autobiographical account of service behind Japanese lines in 1945 in Semut operations, principally designed to invoke insurgency among indigenous people against the Japanese. A detailed account of training and operations, individuals involved. Includes photographs, maps. Barrie was awarded a Military Medal for bravery and devotion to duty in the Sarawak Campaing.
