Description
Portrait of 215881 Private (Pte) Liam Mellows O'Carroll, 4th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, and an unidentified soldier. Pte O’Carroll deployed to Malaysia in October 1965, going on to serve in Sarawak Borneo in April 1966. Pte O’Carroll died of suicide on 27 May 1966, and was buried in Kranji War Cemetery, Kranji, Singapore. He was 29 years old.
