Description
Darwin, NT. c. 1934. A watchtower manned by soldiers of the Darwin Garrison. The watchtowers are used for observation to survey the harbours, and telephone wires run from these towers to the artillery so as to give instructions relating to things such as the size of charge to fire and the elevation of the gun.
