Nagasaki, Japan. c. 1945-09. Scene of destruction showing a street reduced to rubble by the second atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki on 9 August 1945. Only one building and a bridge stand intact in a devastated landscape. Note the cultivated hillsides behind the ruined town.
