Manitoba, Canada. c. 1942. Group portrait of members of the No. 7 Bombing and Gunnery School at Paulson. Left to right: front row: Taylor, Bailey (shot down over Kiel, killed in action), Weaver, P.W. Matthew, T. Duff RAAF (shot down and taken prisoner by the Germans), Feenan RAAF, Denham and Blake. Back row: E. Topp RAF, T. Morris RAAF, N. Burgess RAAF (shot down and killed over Vienna), B. McGowan (shot down but escaped), T. Heery RAAF, E. Hewitt RNZAF, P. Allwright RNZAF, D. Maycroft RNZAF, and A. Mudford RAAF. Many of these men were killed in action.
