The No. 27 Officer Training Unit, part of No. 6 Group RAF Bomber Command, was established in April 1941 at RAF Litchfield, Staffordshire, UK., to train night bomber crews using Vickers Wellington aircraft. Several RAAF personnel attached to the RAF were trained at Litchfield during 1942. Group portrait of some of the personnel who attended No. 27 Course for Pilots and Navigators, H Squadron, at Litchfield, between June and September 1942.
