Description

The No. 27 Officer Training Unit, part of No. 6 Group RAF Bomber Command, was established in April 1941 at RAF Litchfield, Staffordshire, UK., to train night bomber crews using Vickers Wellington aircraft. Several RAAF personnel attached to the RAF were trained at Litchfield during 1942.
