Nambu Type 14 Pistol Holster : Imperial Japanese Army
Description
Nambu Type 14 Pistol Holster. Brown leather with a top flap that secures to the body by an elastic/leather strap. On the front of the inner body are pouches for spare ammunition and a firing pin. An adjustable shoulder strap, also in leather, is a attached to the back on two square rings on either side of the single belt loop.. There are Japanese characters inside the top flap that translate as a rank (possibly Major) and Machine Gun Platoon Commander.
