Description
"In memory" card, 2 small diaries with regular entries describing boat journey from Australia to Port Suez, training in Egypt, Ismalia Camp, boat journey to France, train ride across France, and fighting in the frontline near Erqinghem and Bois Grenier during the Battle of Fromelles. Gives a highly descriptive and moving account of the events occuring there on July 19, 1916, when charging the German trenches.
