Captains of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) fleet row Commodore Thomas Erskine Wardle DSO (Companion of the Distinguished Service Order) Royal Navy (RN) ashore from the RAN Light Cruiser HMAS Sydney, seen in the background, on the occasion of his relinquishing command of the Australian Fleet.
