Sydney, NSW. 1926-04-30. Captain (Capt) G.L. Massey RN and Commander Harry Leslie Howden RAN stand alongside the Man of War steps in the HMAS Sydney's boat with their caps raised giving Commodore Thomas Erskine Wardle RN, who is standing on the jetty also with his hat raised, three farewell cheers on the occasion of his relinquishing command of the Australian Fleet.
