Description
Studio portrait of Private Cyril Roger Cooke, 4th Field Ambulance. A chemist's assistant from Maldon, Victoria, Pte Cooke enlisted on 4 May 1915 and embarked on board RMS Mooltan on 18 May 1915. Cooke served as a stretcher bearer and was awarded a 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, and Victory Medal. Cooke returned to Australia on 14 February 1919 before being discharged.
