El Auja (Auja el Hafir), Palestine. Elevated view of the deserted town, with only a few horsemen riding in the streets. Members of the Camel brigade and C Squadron of the 11th Light Horse regiment were involved in demolishing the railway line here in May 1917. (Donor N. MacDonald)
