In front of the sheds at the Royal Military College (RMC) are a Centurion Mk5 medium gun tank, registration number 169010, M113A1 Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), registration number 134214, Car, Armoured, Reconnaissance, Ferret Mk2, registration number 115319. Note the 'A' type barrel on the Centurion tank, and the fitting of a British radio set in the M113A1 APC, indicated by the type of antenna mount on the right side of the APC roof. None of these particular vehicles ever went to South Vietnam (SVN), but APCs and Tanks of the type pictured served in SVN. The vehicles were stationed at RMC Duntroon in order for students to be able to familiarize themselves with the then current armoured vehicle types serving in the Australian Regular Army.
