Description
Tobruk, Libya. 1941-02. Soldiers including some medical orderlies, possibly of C Company, 2/2nd Battalion, beside a large crater created by an Italian bomb. The deep hole appears to be in a courtyard, very close to the verandahs of a building. One of the soldiers is holding a small dog, possibly `Bobby Tobruk' who was cared for by Private Jack Reedy.
