Description
Original cross grave markers for Lieutenant William Henry Dawkins, 2nd Field Company, Australian Engineers; and Major Charles Herbert Villiers Stuart, 56 Punjabi Rifles Frontier force. Original inscription reads, ‘Graves above RE Park, Anzac Beach. Stones gathered from beach a few yards behind camera.’ Note the photographer’s shadow in the lower right of the frame.
