Description
A photograph of a topographic map made from four overlapping sheets, titled 'Perak' covering the area around Sungei Ciput, Kuala Kangsar District, Perak, Malaysia. Scale not given, possibly photograph of map series L707, GSGS 4690, sheet 2N/1, 1:63,360. Shows roads, railways, populated places, boundaries, rivers, and vegetation. Original map annotated by hand with numbers and boundaries. Related to award of MC to Lt CH Ducker, 3 RAR, 20 Nov 58. Also involved in this action were Cpl MC Peck (later LtCol) and L/Cpl KA Wheatley (WO2 Wheatley VC).
