Can Thou, South Vietnam. A police officer points to a wicker market basket in the back of a small three-wheel Lambretta passenger vehicle which was stopped and searched at a check point on the outskirts of town. A man and woman passenger fled when the driver (left) stopped at the check point. Inside the basket the police found two seven pound bombs, two small dry cell batteries, electrical wire and, hidden in a pack of cigarettes and a coconut, maps of an official building in Can Tho.
