Sketch at the top of the page is in graphite pencil and is over a farm setting with a windmill with a train coming through and a cabbage tree to the left. The bottom is of a water colour with black ink with a a group of soldiers grouped around a table listening to the speaker who apprears to have a can in his hand. There is a study of a man on the right of this image which also appears in the main sketch.
