213438 Warrant Officer Class 2 John Francis Sexton, Company Sergeant Major for C Company, 7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR) moves through a creek whilst on patrol during Operation Cung Chung. WO2 Sexton, who had previously been a member of the Special Air Service (SAS), served two tours of duty with 7RAR in South Vietnam: 1967-68 and 1970-71. He is armed with an M16 automatic rifle and a US pattern ‘Ka-Bar’ combat knife, carried in front of his left-hand water bottle, and wearing a US special forces shirt.
