Collection relating to 7301 Private Patrick Francis Quinn
Description
Studio portrait of 7301 Private (Pte) Patrick Francis Quinn, 24th Reinforcements of the 15th Battalion. A miner of Cairns, Queensland, prior to enlistment, he embarked from Sydney on 24 January 1917. Pte Quinn was killed in action at Messines on 16 August 1917. He was 33 years old.
Caption: "Patrick Francis Quinn Killed in action 16th August 1917, enlisted at Cairns October 1916, sailed to Brisbane 31st December 1916, left Brisbane for England 23rd January 1917."
