Description
Unidentified members of the 7th Reinforcements, commanded by Lieutenant Alexander Frank Buskin, of the 6th Australian Light Horse Regiment. The men were aboard the Australian transport ship Chilka (A51) bound for the Middle East. This group may also include members of the 7th Reinforcements of the 7th Australian Light Horse Regiment or 2nd Reinforcements, 12th Australian Light Horse Regiment who were also aboard the Chilka. Those of the 6th Light Horse have fur puggarees on their hats.
