Crete. 1944-11-26. Old and young flocked to an emergency landing ground when a Baltimore bomber aircraft of No. 459 Squadron RAAF which was hit by A/A (anti-aircraft) fire while dropping leaflets over German forces in the north-western part of the island made a forced landing.
