Description
Xuan Loc area, South Vietnam. 1967-12. A Flying Crane helicopter (either a Sikorsky CH-54 or S-64 Tarhe), watched by a member of the 11th Armoured Cavalry Regiment (11ACR), US Army, lowers a crippled and stripped M113 armoured personnel carrier (APC) back on the ground after an unsuccessful attempt to uplift it. In this first attempt the crane was overloaded and the M113 had to be stripped further to lighten the load.
