Song Rai River, South Vietnam. 1967-07. A young Vietnamese girl, daughter of a soldier from the PF (Popular Force) outpost which guarded the bridge at rear, stands barefoot in a muddy paddy field. During Operation Paddington large United States ground elements were to cross the bridge. Note the A Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, M1131A Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) right rear.
