Williamtown, NSW. C. 1944. Two WAAAF Flight Mechanics, Aircraftwoman (ACW) Lee and Paddy Whitlock of Burwood, NSW, working on an engine of a De Havilland Mosquito aircraft at No. 5 Operational Training Unit. They are sisters who joined the WAAAF on the same day in 1944-02, graduated as aircraft mechanics after a course of technical training, and have worked on Beaufighter and Mosquito aircraft.
