In flight between Geraldton and Perth, WA. 1945-05-12. ABC technicians with their sound recording equipment inside the RAAF Short Sunderland aircraft captained by Flight Lieutenant M. S. Mainprize DFC during the flight from Geraldton to Perth. The aircraft was making a tour of Australian states during 1945-04/05 in support of the 3rd Victory Loan. The ABC technicians were checking recordings of interviews with the crew of the aircraft.
