Roper River, NT. C. 1945-08-24. The making of the Ealing Studios film 'The Overlanders', conceived and directed by Harry Watt and shot on location at a site near Elsey Station. Two photographers use a 35mm Mitchell cine camera enclosed in a 'blimp' to reduce camera noise when recording sound takes.
